The Atlantic coast of Liberia features some of the world’s most consistantly calm billfishing and tuna waters. Fishing off the coast of Liberia normally takes place in an area called the “Shelf”, a deep underwater canyon that is 3 Nm wide. On many days fishing will start between only 12 to 15 miles offshore just before the Shelf. On other days we may run as far as 30 miles if that is what it takes to put you on the biggest fish of your life.
